Privacy Policy — Declutter for Skool
Effective 9 August 2026 · Last updated 9 August 2026
Declutter for Skool collects no data whatsoever. It makes no network requests, contains no analytics, and sends nothing to me or to any third party.
Who this is from
This extension is published by [YOUR NAME], an independent developer. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Skool in any way.
What the extension does
The extension hides sections of the Skool website — the community feed, calendar, members list, map, leaderboards, about tab, chat and notifications — according to nine switches you control. Hiding happens entirely inside your own browser by applying a CSS rule to elements on the page. Nothing on Skool's servers or in your Skool account is changed, and nothing is deleted.
Data collected
None. The extension does not collect, transmit, store remotely, sell, or share any of the following, or anything else:
- Personally identifiable information
- Health, financial or payment information
- Authentication information, passwords or credentials
- Personal communications, including messages or emails
- Location data
- Web history or browsing activity
- User activity such as clicks, keystrokes or mouse position
- Website content
What is stored, and where
Your nine switch settings and one preference are saved as true/false values using Chrome's local extension storage. These stay on your own computer, are readable only by this extension, and are never transmitted anywhere. Removing the extension deletes them. You can also reset them at any time from the extension's popup.
Access to the Skool website
The extension requests access to https://www.skool.com/* and to no other
site. It reads the structure of pages you are already viewing solely to identify which
links and buttons to hide. That reading happens in memory, in the moment, on your device.
Page content is never recorded, stored, copied or sent anywhere.
Third parties
There are none. No analytics services, no advertising, no error reporting, no remote servers, no external code. The complete source of the extension is contained in the package you install.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the extension ever handles data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the change will be described in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
Contact
Questions, or a request to access or delete data: [YOUR EMAIL]. Since no data is collected, there is nothing held about you to access or delete, but the address is monitored and I will reply.
